24546 Darnell (provisional designation: 2001 DE35) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro, New Mexico, on February 19, 2001. It is named after Alicia Marie Darnell, an American high school student whose medicine and health sciences project won first place at the 2008 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
